Special Requests?

I keep reading about people in faxing special requests to their resorts before they go?

What types of things can you special request? Like extra shampoo/conditioner?

Sorry if this is a silly question, I'm just curious about items that you can request!

Special Requests placed before arrival are usually about the specific room (view, floor, bed type, building number, etc...). If you need additional shampoo, blankets, hangers etc...you would request them through mousekeeping once you check in and have your room.

We stick our request to building type. Too many requests can equal no requests granted.

That's a personal choice. Some people like ground floor, others like upper floors. Some people like to be close to the elevator, others like to be far away. Some are traveling with others and want to request their rooms be close together.
