Special Offers at GC week before Christmas?

Has anyone gotten a discount at the GF the week Before Christmas? I have my heart set on staying there, but it is WAY out of our price range unless there is a discount offered. At WDW last year we had a discount all the way up to the day after Christmas!

It's possible.

If the GC is that much of a stretch look at the PPH or DLH to save a little. Or across Harbor Blvd at the much cheaper motels and hotels.
