special lounge at sanford

Can anyone tell me about this?

Hi,
We used The Royal Palm Lounge on our last trip. You pay around $20, for this you get two complimentary drinks and snacks. It has two TV areas for watching dvd's, a childrens play area, computers with free internet access, play stations and a quiet reading lounge.
I found this area great and really relaxing after a very busy fortnight. It's worth the money just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the airport.

dh wants to prebook it lol. He thinks it will be a great end to the holiday. Any advice on how to prebook?

Just had a look on the Sanford website and it gives you a tour of the lounge but there's no info on how to book.

We have used this lounge a couple of times, but would probably not do so next time round.

It's fairly small, can get very crowded, and the snacks and drinks are not great. In our view, we would rather spend the money on a decent meal in the main lounge.

The only benefit would be if the flight were to be delayed, in which case you can pay at the door. Even then, I would be undecided.

It's not that great a deal, and nothing like proper lounges at other airports.

Sharon, we used the lounge last year and we enjoyed it, it wasn't all that buisy then (Sept) and it had pretty decent coffee :) though the snacks were just cookies, potato chips type stuff, theres an area for kids with games consoles and a computer area and a room showing movies plus a quiet reading room. But as i said it was a quiet time of year.

Cannot remember how we booked this, we did pre-book, i'll ask Dh after work and let you know :)
