Special invites to make for kids

Has anyone ever created a special invitation for their kids for a disney dinner. I was thinking of making something for when we have our princess breakfast and our crystal palace dinner. If you have done this I would love some ideas on creating these. Especially if you have a website that we could print something out with a color printer. Thanks a bunch. Some of us are creatively challanged.

I made one for my DD for our CRT breakfast, (well, honestly it was more for myself to put in the scrapbook).

What I did was use a piece of light blue cardstock (like Cindy's dress) as backing and then printed the invitation on velum paper in a fancy font...it looked like a wedding invitation. I attached the velum to the cardstock with a paper fastener that had a blue crystal on it. (which I bought at Walmart or Hobby Lobby rather cheaply). I did it on our old computer, or else I'd offer to send you a copy. It was super easy.

It said something to the effect of: The honor of your presence is requested at Cinderella's Royal Table on Wednesday the twenty-nineth of August Twothousand and eight. (except that I looked up how to write numerals out so that it was correct )

It was simple, looked official/elegant and it'll look great in the scrapbook, whenever I get around to doing it.

Check out the Creative DISigns board...a lot of those generous, creative diser's have some great graphics that you can borrow -- like from albums in photobucket, etc. I found a Cinderella invitation for CRT and printed on parchment looking paper and rolled it up and tied w/a ribbon and it appeared w/the Tinkerbell treats. It's a lot of fun and you will be inspired on that board! Let us know what you come up with.
