Special gift for family

My sister and her family are going to Disney right after Christmas and my mom and I would like to do something nice for them while they are down there.

We were thinking of doing gift certs to a Disney restaurant but I don't think they take them.

Is there something we could have waiting for them in their room. They have a 2 and a 3 year old...both boys. Any ideas? It doesnt have to be in there room...any and all ideas are welcome!

Have I read somewhere that you can get Christmas Tree in your room around the holidays? Or am I just dreaming! Thanks in advance for all your help!

If you want to send something down for them, you can ship a package directly to their WDW resort and it will be waiting for them when they arrive. I believe previous posts have indicated that you want to have it addressed to the party staying at the resort, and indicate the check-in date.

Maybe you could send them one of those mini Christmas trees that's about 15-20" tall.

I have used pixie gifts twice and would recommend them to anyone. I have not used the other two services but have heard wonderful comments on both. One thing to remember.... if you did order a basket, it probably would not be waiting in the room for them. It would be left in the room sometime during their first day (after they check in).

I would contact Guest Services to find out about the tree. They should be able to help you.

As for gift certificates, you could get DIsney Dollars at your local Disney store. They can use these at a restaurant or gift shop. Could be fun for the little ones, too.

Thats neat, but geesh $50 for 7 cookies??????????
