I have been having problems with my stomach lately and need to eat plain, simple foods. Not this best time for this to happen because I have a lot of super ADRs scheduled for the family and I. Will they be able to accomodate my request for foods cooked without a lot of spices and fat? How far in advance do I need to call?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Disney is great with allergies and special needs. On one occasion, we even saw the chef come over to a table and discuss the needs with a guest--on the level of "you tell me what you can have and I will fix it and you don't worry about the price, I will fix that too." He then told them that if they came back to WDW, they should bring him their favorite recipe from home and he would fix it for them.

Tell them about your needs ASAP (when you make ADRs is a good time). THey do request 24 hours notice minimum when special preparation is needed. Then remind the CM when you check in. Many restaurants can do simple things--eliminate spices while cooking, etc. The more specific you can be, the better for them.
