"Special Fares"

Hi,

I've just been on expedia to find possible flights for next year and found some for a great price which were noted as "special fare". can anyone explain what this means please?

It just means that Expedia negotiated reduced pricing for those specific fares. All Expedia "special fares" require full and complete pre-payment at the time of booking (i.e. you can't pay a deposit and then the balance at a later date).

Just out of interest - what dates were you looking at for the special fares?

Also you normally can't change the booking once made - I got some good prices last year on this basis.
