Special events at Disneyland?

My husband and I just found out that we are being transferred to Southern California in June. At first I was in shock and basically horrified at the thought of home shopping in California since we are coming from Nevada. However, my excitement has overcome any fears, and the thought of living close to Disneyland just tickles me <font color=magenta><b>pink<font color=black></b>! We currently have Deluxe Annual Passes since we drive out there so often, but since we will be so close we can really put them to use. I am wondering what special events Disneyland has that I might not know of? We have gone to The Mother's Day Brunch, and are going to The Thanksgiving Feast this November. Other than those 2 events and the Easter Brunch, I don't know of anything else. I wish Disneyland had a Halloween and Christmas party like WDW does. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated!!!

Unfortunately, Disneyland doesn't have nearly as many cool events as WDW. I too, wish they would catch on and do a Halloween and Christmas party, and I think DCA would be the perfect place for a Food & Wine festival. But unless you're a big tv fan, the only other eventa that I can think of are the ABC Primetime Preview weekend. You probably already know about this, but if not, during the month of September, they have a big event where the stars of ABC shows come down to DCA and there are some different activities.

And starting in May of 2005, Disneyland will begin their 50th anniversary celebration, so I'm sure there are lots of fun things to come!!

Other than the 50th anniversary, it sounds pretty lack luster, but I love it all the same! I'm sure once you get down here and are settled in, you'll feel like you lived here all your life!!
