Special dining options

Hi all
Will be going in September and celebrating mine and my wife’s birthday and 25th anniversary all in Septembe. Hoping something like Victoria & Alberts will be open by then. I have however seen mentions on various boards about special dining things that can be set up. Someone mentioned a private desert event at the Grand Floridan. does anyone know of anything like this that can be arranged for a dinner? I looked on the website and don’t see anything. Also, if you know of anything how does one go about arranging it?

There are some ideas in this recent thread on romantic dinners & dining experiences in WDW. In it, I recommend Bull & Bear at the Waldorf, which is very near to the EPCOT resort area. I think it is the closest thing to a V&A fine dining experience operating right now. The food & service are exquisite (you get a team of servers) and there is a lot of tableside preparation with explanation of ingredients, technique etc. (if you're interested in that info). It is not as formal as V&A but still solidly in the special occasion dinner category. There are several YouTube videos of various vloggers dining there that may give you an idea of the experience.

I know the Grand Floridian bakery is still baking special cakes (with limited delivery options) but I'm not sure if they're back to coordinating the private dinners ... definitely worth asking about. I've seen a couple of YouTube videos about that experience as well. The site linked above by the previous poster is full of great info ... just a question of whether WDW is back to normal operations in that area.

If you're fans of wine, I think Wine Bar George (Disney Springs) will curate special tastings or a pairing dinner. It might be worth reaching out to them as well. I've always had a great experience there. In my opinion, food and service are at a signature level although it is not categorized as signature dining.
