I just took a look at the gifts of a lifetime web site! The "Guests of Honor" badge will be a perfect touch at check in. Can I have these at the front desk so that they can be recieved at check in?

We will be staying at the Polynesian and I think it would be neat when we checked it that they say, "What a minute these arrived for you..." My boyfriend would be floored! If you've seen any of my other posts you'd know we're trying to teach him a thing or two about Disney Magic!

I'd suggest you send Jane (at Giftsofalifetime.com) an email....I'm sure she can figure out a way to help you! She's very accomendating and helpful!

I think they would definitley be able to help you. I just ordered a postcard from Mickey for my DH telling him "he can't wait to see him." We are total Disney Nuts and leaving in.. 19 DAYS and DH will be floored at how I managed this. I give Gifts of a Lifetime two thumbs up for service and I think they would be able to help you no problem. As the previous poster mentioned, just email her and let her know what you are trying to do. Hope you have a magical trip!

I emailed Jane early this AM-and replied immediately!!!

I'm also planning on sending my Other 1/2 a post card closer to our departure...He'll understand the "Magic of Disney" and I can't wait to see the look on his face! Surprising him is always fun!

What do you suggest I put on the post card? Is this something that they come up with? Or do I come up with the message?

Any creative, fun ideas?

J - My understanding is that they will do it for you or you can ask for a special message. For my DH I put, "Can't wait to see you again! Get Here Real Soon - The Magic Is Waiting! Love, Mickey " He'll be so surprised! Your other half will be so surprised and I say the sooner the magic starts the better !

I totally agree with you! Our trip will start off with the post card...then the GOH badges at the front desk...then I rented a limo to take us to Port Canaveral to get on the Disney Wonder...and to kick off our cruise I am working with Shirley from the Perfect Gift to put together a gift basket for him! I love having little surprises around for him...I can't wait to see the look on his face!

Daxx, I just ordered one yesterday and for the postcard only it was $3.50. Not bad at all I thought! And what a fun idea it never would have dawned on me to do that until I saw it on their site. They also have a good selection of characters that you can pick.

Jamie - what great ideas! I love surprising my DH. He is sooo good at it and is always pulling things off, but with all my Disney research and these boards when it comes to Disney I am usually able to pull off some sort of surprise and I can't wait to see him try to figure out how I managed to get a postcard from Disney sent to him! It's a little thing but it's Disney and that's all that matters to us! Have lots of fun on your cruise!

hi: thanks for such great ideas! we're doing a "ladies only" trip in november, and this would be a perfect way to start getting those ladies excited. a couple of them haven't been there in a while - mk and epcot were the only parks. any other ideas?

We do are best as a couple to work on the "little things." This year has been extremely tough-I started a class that is pretty time intensive...so needless to say he has had to pick up some of the slack ie-doing laundry on his own when we usually do it together, taking care of dinner and taking care of me ontop of it...like telling me that is time for bed when I make the huge attempt to pull an all nighter studying...

So, all these little things for him are worth every penny!!!!
