Special Deals for travel agencies?

Do they get anything not posted to the general public? I've used them in tue past but feel fully knowledgable to book my own and I'm on dis constantly so no new deal will slip by me so no need for a ta to keep me posted on new offers. Just wondering if Disney offers ta special deals because that would be my only reason To use one this time.

Travel agents don't get any kind of "special" deals that the general public can't get.

They LOOK for things WE don't know about. If something cheaper comes up they notify u. Love MEI unbeatable. They know so many "tricks" to help.

Thanks. Now being on disboards ALL the time will MEI likely know special tricks a DISser wouldn't know or just the typical traveller? I'll look into them anyway.

We are going in September and assuming there will be a room discount or at least FD which would be the only promos we could use I think- and just one or the other.

If you are going to use a TA to book your Disney trip, be sure its one that specializes in Disney. Lots of TA's can offer Disney trips but you soon realize that you know more about Disney than they do.

One thing a good Disney TA can do for you is to monitor your reservation for special deals that may be announced. If something good comes up after you book your TA should be letting you know about it.

I'm using Dreams Unlimited to plan our DW trip. I haven't been to DW in um...forever.....sooooo.....it just made sense to us not knowing a thing...to have someone with a lot more experience help us.
I'm still doing research. Reading books and gaining as much knowledge as I can BUT there is no way I can know all there is to know to make our dreams come (even close to) true.
They know all the ins and outs.....for me anyway....it was a good choice.
