special birthday ideas for WDW

We'll be at WDW staying at BC this June. My DH will have a birthday while we are there. I've already made reservations for Cinderella's Castle for dinner. Any other unique ideas to surprise him would be appreciated. Thanks!!

We too will be there in June and it will by my DH's b-day too . I reserved an Illuminations fireworks cruise for the whole family. It leaves from the Boardwalk, so we're having dinner at the CapeMay Cafe first (we all really love seafood). He doesn't know, and I'm having a very hard time not telling him. You have to call WDW-PLAY to reserve those. I've heard they are really hard to book though, I called exactly 90 days in advance at 0700 Dis time.

Is it just the 2 of you? If so, what about one of the tours? Keys to the Kingdom is a great one if you're Disney veterans or how about the Segway tour? Men and motors..... Don't forget to ask for his badge from whichever park you are in on the day. Also tell them when you check in that its his birthday and they might do something at the hotel.

I have celebrated 2 bdays in WDW thanks to a fabulous BF. He let all the ADR's know i was my bday, I also got a pin from each park! Wispering Canyon at WL is great fun for your bday too!

Great idea. I booked the Mickey tour yesterday for the entire day. I also think I'll order the "wake-up" call, and have a cake delivered from the Boardwalk Bakery. Thanks again, Tracey

Call back and change your departure from BoardWalk to Bayside Marina!
Disney no longer has a pontoon boat at BW, and all 5 pontoons are dispatched from Bayside Marina. Plus, you are dining on the Beach side, which is physically closer to Bayside Marina than the BW Dock.
Call and ask for your pick up to be changed, it will not affect your reservation and they will not need to cancel your original booking.
But, if, they give you a hard time, leave it alone, and stop at Bayside Marina on your way to dinner and tell anybody there that you will meet at Bayside Marina instead of Boardwalk.

Why? Because like I mentioned, all boats now are dispatched from Bayside Marina, all parties need to finalize payment at Bayside Marina, so even if you are picked up at BW, the driver needs to first drive you back to Bayside marina to pay for the cruise. You will save a lot of time if you make this change.
