Yippee!!!! The tree is decorated and the house is now Christmas-ized


You really can't see the detail but our tree skirt is red velvet with gold embroidered poinsettias on it.

We know some Dis-friends that cheated on the mouse and sailed on the Celebrity Solstice yesterday. I know that they have having a great time. Wish we were there.

LOL, you would bring that up. The ship is fantastic and Disney will really have to go some with the two new ships to meet the standards just set by Celebrity. We can't wait to book another cruise with them, still thinking of one of the Baltic cruises though (on Disney).

We saw on our news today that "some" cruise lines are offering 7 night Eastern & Western Cruises over Christmas and New Years for less than $500 US per person....tempting...very tempting!!!!!!!

Ship was fantastic, beautiful. Great food. Would book it again in a heartbeat.

o.k., not really. This is the tree in the Walnut Room at Marshall Fields Chicago(yeah, I know....macy's)
45 foot tall. Very nice.
Was there saturday. Great shopping trip. Good weather.
Also went to the Disney Store and Ghiradelli's.

If we bought one up there, I am sure that it would be confiscated at the border.
I am sure one will turn up before christmas.

Good Morning Cruisers!

My cold is getting worse, I coughed up a storm last night, had to move to the guest bedroom at 3am so as not to wake up Scott with another coughing fit! I am really wiped out today! I am just very thankful that it is all in my chest and not in my head, I would really be a hurting puppy if my head were stuffy also.

It is snowing and cold today, think I will confine my activities to working on Christmas cards, ordering Christmas gifts, and working on afghans I am trying to finish before Christmas. As today is laundry day, I will get my exercise climbing stairs. The dogs have not gotten off the bed since I fed them this morning!
