Phillies Win the World Series!!!​

It was tough getting up for work today. Why do insist on having another celebration drink? , okay one more ....

My 12 year old memories are pretty faded from the 80 series, but I remember the bumper sticker on the station wagon for the next 7 years

We had SNOW yesterday!!! It was so funny watching the snowflakes swirl around outside... In October in NJ!

I went to watch DD play volleyball yesterday. It was 91 and no air conditioning in the gym.

Yep, 28 years ago, my DW and I had just moved into our house a couple of months before the Phillies won the 1980 World Series. Hard to believe, we've been in this house 28 years now.......

Better everyday. had 4 Doctors appointments yesterday, All good.

except for my wrist they want to do surgery on it and put in some screws or pins or something like that..
every thing else is just going to take time but i will be fine..

I got to bed a little after midnight and was up at 5am so I could get to the gym before work. A lot of the regulars were missing from the gym this morning, I guess they were partying all night......

I think my 1980's Phillies WS t-shirt is still packed away somewhere as a keepsake. Will be getting a 2008 Phillies WS t-shirt after work today!!!

Glad to hear you are doing OK. Have them put in the high quality screws and pins - stay away from the galvanized stuff!

Everyone! Miss you all so much. Did anyone register for the Princess Races in March? Still haven't made up my mind on those yet.

After just one day back at work... I'm ready to go back to the world! When we landed in Philadelphia on Monday night we could see the stadium filling up for the Series. Now they're back in Florida!

Georgie....you can keep your snow....we missed the first taste of winter....they had snow flurries all around us earlier this week but we were snow free!!!!!!

We'll be at WDW May 2-9, cruising May 9-16 and back to WDW until May 23. I can't wait to see the Flower & Garden Festival this year....it's Cinderellabration.

LindaBabe, thanks for the good advice. We will have plenty of water & food with us while we drive. I'll be bringing a large cooler hopefully filled with healthy snacks that our 3 hungry teens will eat.

Why do you bring a coffee maker? Do you not like the coffee makers at the WDW resorts?

Some hotels we stop at don't have "real" coffee makers, only those one cup plastic jobs that hold a packet of 'their' coffee. Sheraton in Nashville, comes to mind, as well as one of the Courtyards we've stayed in.

Also, Pop Century and the other values don't have coffee makers, and I refuse to drink Nescafe.

Great to hear from you Peter! I'm glad your on the mend, but I'm sorry to hear you have to go back under the knife.

Happy (belated) Halloween.
Was a great evening last night.
After all the festivities, I enjoyed a late dinner with two young ladies.
A couple of real witches.
And one real little one.
Actually, we all went out for pizza the trick or treating.

Belle did not get to go, but she enjoyed all the kids coming to the door.
She even slipped out once to join the parade.
Same costume as last year, but she fills it out more now.

Hi gang we are at the airport waitting for our flight, were up early and went to DHS, did toy story, TOT, R&R, and Star Tours, strolled back and drove to the airport.

Had a great trip, will be nice to get home and see the pups, start hitting the bricks etc to get ready for Goofy......

Just got the new Mickey Monitor. New pins, new Kim Adventures in EPCOT. We're hoping to get down in December for a quick visit to see the Castle in lights, and to see the Candlelight Processional with the Christmas story!
