Ewww. I woke up with a sore throat yesterday. It is worse this morning. I have been using lots and lots of zicam since yesterday and need to go get Emergen-C. I am okay with a cold, but I just hope Merrick doesn't get it.

By the way, it is my last day of work today until September 8th!!!!!

woo hoo Jill....my co-workers told me I have to be "low-key" tomorrow or they are going to chain me to my desk so I can't leave....I mean I have no idea what they are talking about....I only did the 1 more work day dance about 20 times today!!!!!

I've got my desk sign all made up...and even though I don't finish work 'til 4 pm...my extended absence vacation voice mail is going on at noon!!!!!!

Have tons of fun at work today! woo hoo! We'll make disney-ites out of them yet! My co-workers never believed that I wasn't the most disney crazed of the group...but then they haven't been on the disboards! tee hee.

I loved reading about the zip line! One day I'll get to do it but for now reading about it is enough.

Fay closed our schools on Tuesday (the first day) and we got 4 minutes of rain. I'm glad though that officials erred on the side of caution. We have yet to have any more rain but do have strong breezes -good for the laundry.

Dare I say it? Our local news said that there is another storm way out there that is being tracked but won't be close for about a week or more.

Whoooo hoooo we just LOVE Brent!!! They have to give him to us because he's just so experienced with "The Lanyard People"!!!

Regina I think I found that 12 pounds Gary lost too.... don't you just hate that!!

We are still feeling the effects of Fay.... rain, rain and more rain. Not bad thunderstormy stuff.. just constant light rain in our parts.

Don't you worry. I have Gary's weight loss covered and have an extra 12 pounds just in case he wants those too.

Elaine, have safe travels! It only dawned on me yesterday that I'll be in WDW in a week. We arrive on the 27th.

As Scott mentioned, we did not get the grout done on the bar top last night because our modem died on us - and that was a big priority!!! Can't get by without that internet We will be leaving a week from today, to drive down to Denver - Scott says he has taken the day off, so we might go down early and play in Denver before we fly out to DL on Friday. Packing is almost done - should be finished with it this weekend.

Brent was our cruise director on the 11 night Southern Caribbean cruise....and lets just say he did things that he will never live down....like this...

No worries! I have the video at home on the computer. It is so dang funny, that is, just listening to Leslie and Elaine hysterically laughing while trying to hold the video camera. Was there one too many margaritas that afternoon?

Anyway, on the PC cruise in May this year, Tony (aphoenix) had the video with him on his computer and Brent got a copy of it. So now he has his own official copy.

His official nickname is chicken boy. If you ask anyone who has been around awhile where chicken boy is they know exactly who you are talking about!
