Hello everyone!! Been lurking. We are joining all of you on this cruise, Thanks to Lisa! This will be our 2nd cruise. Cruising with us will my DH-Rich 44, Myself Vicki 45 and DD-Amanda 10. Our son Tim will not be joining us again(Lisa and Jessica know what happened the 1st cruise. He's 21 and might be seen) . I'm a Nurse in the ER and my husband is a Paramedic Supervisor! We will be main dining in room 6078. Waiting for DVC to tell us how many points!

Yes Flounders is a babysitting place for children under 3. You can book 10 hours online 75 days before the cruise if you are a first time cruiser! Hope that helps feel free to PM me if you have any other questions, I will help as much as I can but I only know what I have read!

We used Flounder's on our November cruise for DS1. We would sign him in like they do at the other clubs. You are given a pager, in case they need to reach you. We were never paged. There is an area for the children to play with Little People type toys, riding toys and a tv. However, I never saw the tv on. The kids were always playing with the CMs when we came in. Also, there is a back room with cribs. It looks like a daycare. Everytime we went in to get DS1, he was fast asleep in a crib. They wore him out. On our Palo night, they even changed him into his pajamas. There is a one-way window you can check on your child. We felt confident about the staff. They were great! We did book additional hours while onboard. It was well worth it! It was nice having the time with just DH after being with the kids the previous week at WDW. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

Flounder's Reef Nursery

Babysitting Disney-style is a delight for children 12 weeks to 36 months in this "under the sea" soft play area with illustrations of Flounder, Scuttle and Sebastian from "The Little Mermaid." Kids can sleep in the "quiet room" or play in the "activity room" under the watchful eyes of trained Disney caregivers. And parents are given pagers so that they can always be in touch.

Be sure to book your child's nursery stay EARLY because space is extremely limited. You can make a reservation online or during open house on Embarkation Day on a first-come, first-served basis. To check additional availability, visit Flounder's Reef Nursery during your cruise.
