I'm taking my daughter on a special mom and me Disney trip. I'm excited to spend some quality time with just her. Any ideas of where would be great places to dine for something like this? It'll be a short trip and we'll have 4 TS credits to use. Here is what I have come up with so far:

1900 Park Fare for dinner. I think the evil stepmother and stepsisters are a hoot. She'd have a lot of fun with that. She isn't into princesses anymore really but this type of humor is up her alley.

'Ohana for dinner. We have a similar place around here where they come around with various meats to try. We've been once and she loved it. I think this would be fun.

What else? Hmmm? She likes most food but nothing too exotic. Ideas where they would make her feel special? Thanks friends! :goodvibes

Does she like animals?
Maybe Coral Reef and ask for a table with the tank view

Boma dinner or Sanaa lunch at AKL - take in the animal viewing

Maybe Chefs de France or Rose and Crown. At Rose and Crown ask for an outside table to see Illuminations (time this with at least a 7:45 adr etc)

Tutto Italia - nothing more fun than having the servers sing Happy Birthday to you in Italian!

Maybe Whispering Canyon or 50's Prime Time if she likes to have fun etc.

The above are all 1 ts on the dining plan I think.

Something nice out of pocket would be the afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian. Very peaceful and elegant.

Best of luck deciding.

My suggestions would be Sanaa -But make sure to there there early enough so its still light out, so you can actually see the animals. Doing the lunch with the animal expert may be a neat idea for her.

Also, Garden View Tea Room at the Grand Floridian. What little girl wouldn't want a "grown-up" tea with their mommy?? ( :

Chefs de France, Crystal Palace, Coral Reef

When we do our m/d trip, we are trying places like:

WP Cafe, San Angel Inn, Boma, Tony's, Kouzzina and Grand Floridian Cafe:thumbsup2

For an MK day I'd do a mid-afternoon lunch at LTT and the Wishes Dessert Party (LTT is1 TS; the Dessert Party is oop).

Tutto is good IF it will be open then (closed for refurb Jan - April 2012).

Boma is interesting. Sanaa food might be a little too exotic. Biergarten and Cape May are both fun with good food but not "birthday special".

If she likes mexican food, San Angel might be a more grown-up atmosphere. I don't know what Yak & Yeti do for special occasions, but the restuarant is very enjoyable. For an ultimate splurge, though, you could just do CS & snacks one day and a Signature the other day. AP? FF?

I think 1900PF and Ohana are great picks!

Thanks everyone for the awesome ideas! A question: Can you view animals from Boma? Sanaa may be a little too exotic for us as Quin mentioned. I have eaten Boma breakfast but don't remember seeing any animals? Is dinner a better time to go?
