Speaking of Harry Potter...

Any ideas on when book 6 is out???? I am so anxious to read the next installment!

How many times have you read the books? I have read them each only once out loud to DS, I think I will go back and read them again looking for clues! LOL!

Based on the last rumblings heard from JKR I would venture a guess not until late 2005 or so. She said that it was coming along nicely but that it was going to be the largest volume yet.

I just read a transcript of a conversation between JKR and some school children that took place in early March. She said she is in the process of finishing it, but has no say as to when it will be published, that its up to her publishers to decide that.

I only own Order of the Phoenix.

going to get the paper back boxed set this weekend most likely...even though they are 'young adult/kid' books...they are still a very fun read.

I've read them all about 3 times or so... I'm re-reading OOtP right now, actually. June 4th (movie) can't come fast enough!!

I have read volumes 1-4 at least 4 times, and volume 5 twice. I love them, and my DH has either read them or has listened to them on CD. We can't wait for the movie to come out, but from what we have heard, the next movie isn't due out until fall of 2005. My DS (who is 6) has a couple of computer games, "Chamber of Secrets" and "Quidditch World Cup" and he just loves them.

We, that is all of our family members, have read books 1-5 at least once and listened to the audio versions of 1-4 at least once. My sons and I are listening to the audio version of OOP now. We listen whenever we're in the car. I love Jim Dale's "performances"
I think these books merit a second or third reading. There is so much you miss in the first reading.

I'm currently reading "The Ultimate Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter". It's a very interesting read, but it's not authorized or in any way connected to J.K. Rowling. It is an analysis of books 1-4 with speculation on what's yet to come. The same authors have also recently released "New Clues to Harry Potter: Book 5". It's not a full analysis of OOP but gives hints to book 5 mysteries.

Just a little something to keep you going until Book 6 arrives I can't wait either. My son and I just saw the new full trailer for the POA movie coming out in June. It looks so cool; can't wait for that either

I'ver read the series only once. Look forward to the movie.
I've heard about the next book being large and wonder if it will outsize some. I like the series, just seem to wonder if it will get to the point where the book story will go on too long. Like the book sizes not much bigger. But I will probably read whatever the size.
