According to the WDW website, the rehab of Spaceship Earth has been extended through November 13.

The WDW web site is now listing that the Spaceship Earth Rehab has been extended through February 18, 2008!

wow, must be some intense rehab. When did it close? Can't wait to see it when we go in October next year! :cool1:

Fine with me, but i would be mad if I was going and now its closed. I love Spaceship Earth and sounds like they're really trying to make it good.

That would be a pleasant surprise.

Given Disney's recent track record, you will understand why I fear they could still ruin (or at least dumb down) another classic attraction. You know - like they did Mexico, Journey into Imagination, The Enchanted Tiki Room, Alien Encounter, Horizons, World of Motion, Kitchen Kabaret (Food Rocks), The Living Seas, etc.

I do have more hope for this rehab, though, especially since a sponsor is footing the bill.

I hope the refurb comes out well. The interactive part sounds pretty cool too. From the way they made it sound like in the Project Tomorrow post show it sounds a little like Horizons because of the "choose your future" (or something like that) thing that was said. I'm glad I got a video the of it before it went do for refurb too because I went on it a few days before it closed.

Where did you read the 2008 reopening? I was reading the rehab WDW site before I came here and it still states November 14.

Oops, I read the rehab area of wdwinfo site.

Apparently I needed to take my rose-colored glasses off to see that indeed the Spaceship Earth is still under rehab until February, 2008. We'll be sadly disappointed to miss the new update when we are there in December.

Yup they are just like with rides like Test Track, Mission Space, Expedition Everest, Soarin, Rockin Roller Coaster, Pirates of the Carribean, and Monsters Inc Laugh Floor.
