Spacers...devil in desguise.

Hi guys,

today right after school, i had to go to the orthodontist. I got my spacers on and im getting braces next wednesday. My dad had them too and he said " it was like hell in my mouth." I agreed. They put 14 in. It doesn't hurt yet, but they will in a few hours. I can't live through another week like this!

Aw I'm sorry. But just think positive and how perfect your teeth will look once the spacers and braces are gone.

It is soo worth it!

I had them all on my teeth 2 years ago funny story... They alll came out well at the movie theater welll eating gummy worms so if you want to get them out get gummy worms and the best part of all was the othodontist was closed so i got out of them and when i had a othodontist appointment the next monday to get brace they said it was fine and only put 2 back in because they needed to be in for a month or something like that. There not that bad after a while and you will have beautiful teeth soon

People keep telling me this, think of the ending results
I've had braces for two and half years.

And honestly, braces and spacers suck

Spacers don't hurt that much.

I had Braces for 4 Years. Yeah, It sucks But you get good teeth.

And you get used to the Braces. I never even knew they were there sometimes. hehe.

Ok, I am not going to be all nice about it....
They suck. I swear.
But OMG 14!!! I only had 2!
I have had mine for 3 years and was only supposed to have them for 6 months. haha right. Actually my teeth have been straight since then, but I keep having problems like I get hit in the mouth and stuff.

Please don't pull/help/take them out! I used to work for an orthodontist. It will only make it harder on the day you get you braces put on. We mainly used spacers to make room between teeth to get the metal bands in the proper position. If there were no spacers... we would literally "push" and have the patient "bite" the bands down in between the teeth.

It's much easier to have bands placed after spacers have done their job. I'm not preaching from an uninformed view. I've had braces twice!

They are killing me! I took ana dvil, it helped a little bit. I'm getting them off next Wednesday. Then I am getting my braces the same day, suckish day!!
