I found multiple ADRs for 2 (still available for the same time I booked); but couldn’t find any for 3, 4 or 5. Is the system setup to only accept a party of 2. We are 5 people (3 Disney adults, 1 child and 1 infant). I booked 12:40 and 1:50 pm for 2. Would they allow us to combine the reservations at the lounge (infant uses high chair)?

You need to count every person in your party, because of the fire code. This means you need to book for a party of 5. The lounge area is designed to seat parties of 2 or 4. You would need to divide your party, if you are interested in the lounge. You need to find two reservations closer (no more than 15-20 minutes). You can only be the lead guest on one reservation at a time. Have another adult lead guest on first reservation and you on the second reservation. Disney will try to accommodate your party sitting close to each other, but there is no guarantee.

Please note that any dining reservation requires your entire party to be counted, including those age two and under.

I usually book 5 and count our infant. The app now allows to check in one more person. I’ve seen some videos where tables were being joined for larger parties. I booked a longer trip and this is several days (7 days out and they have plenty of tables at the same time for 1 and 2) out but they are not accepting any reservations of 3, 4, 5 or 6 and I’ve tried all day long. We are ok waiting and would be willing to switch if necessary (2 eat; others ride something nearby). You can’t book reservations overlapping (need at least 1 hr gap).

I want to know if someone was able to get a table for 4 recently (it seems like the system is not combining tables) and if they had ADRs back to back, if the staff was accommodating.

No, the app sometimes allows you to add 1 person. It depends if the restaurant can accommodate an extra person when you check in. I have had the “you can add “0” additional guests” message more than once at popular, fully booked restaurants. I wouldn’t count on that, especially at someplace as hard to get as Space 220.

Thanks for the responses. I booked lunch for 5 as a backup. Our family did not have a great dinner experience and there was little accommodation for allergies, so the lounge menu, where some of us can eat and others just choose drinks/desserts, appealed more. I put in a reservation finder request for the lounge for 3 and 5 people.

I wasn't able to check in to Space 220 on the app. Maybe it wasn't working or maybe it's because it isn't a Disney-operated restaurant.

You probably won't find a reservation for five, I believe the largest reservation available in the lounge is for 4, unless they have changed things.

was there with a party of eight, two reservations for four, we were seated at separate tables. Close but not adjacent.

How did you book party of 8? Did you book 2 separate reservations for the same time under different accounts? The date was 4/2 (not 4/1) and I still do see reservations available for 2.

How long did it take to do the lounge? If it takes about 45 mins; then we have time to ride in between. I don’t see any tables for 4.

2 separate reservations 10 minutes apart on different accounts. Was there about an hour. The lounge had tables for 2 and tables for 4, plus the bar. When I was there, they were not pushing tables together for larger parties.

Disney dining reservations generally does not like odd numbers. Even if I am solo, I usually book for 2 and drop to 1 when I check in. Never a problem.

Since you can't book 6 in the lounge, I would try for 4 and 4 or 4 and 2... as others have said, the infant in the high chair will count.

Good luck and keep trying! Might be that some folks will drop and you can pick up something that meets your needs better.
