I am going to WDW for 2 days just to do space.
How many times do I need to do it and are there any tips.

Is there a singles line?
Do you get to pick your position?
How long are the lines'/wait times?
Can you do multiple fast pass?

Please help.

I can answer some of your questions.

Yes there is a single riders line

I guess it depends on who else is riding. We rode as a family and switched around the second time we rode it so that we could try out the other jobs.

Lines and wait times were not too bad. First time maybe 5 mins. Second time 15ish.

As far as I know, Disney only allows one fast pass at a time per ticket.

When we went to Epcot 10/8 the wait for MS was 45 minutes regular line and 25 min single rider line. BUt after an hour or so the wait had gone down to 15 min/10 min respectively. Fast passes were running at 7pm-8pm return time at 11:30 am. If you are baby swapping, get your fast pass and get a baby swapping pass. 3 people can ride with baby swapping pass so the waiter doesnt have to ride alone. We loved MS--just wished it was a tad longer.

Firen'ice - play it by ear and check the wait times - when we were there in August, the singles line was only five minutes shorter than the regular wait. As for the positions, I can tell you that the two outboard positions (Navigator and Engineer I believe) feel the "forces" a bit more than the two inboard positions. Personally, I felt it more as the Engineer. If you are riding single, you could probably swap positions as long as other members of your crew are willing - you get your position assignment after you leave the pre-flight briefing and stand on a number outside the bay door. CapCom will give you your assignment at that point. It's a blast - enjoy!!!!

We did it once Wed evening......actually DH rode it first with wait time of 10 min. then we all did it with a wait time of 35 min. in the stand-by line.
The park was unbelievably crowded!!! And I think a lot of people are still not sure of what to expect, so it wasn't nearly as crowded as TT.
Comparing the 2.....we liked TT much better.
M:S was cool, but not something we would consider riding over and over.
We then went back and did it twice on Thurs. We got right on at park opening.....wait of 5 min. But by 10:30am...wait was up to 60 min. We were heading out at 11am, but another guest gave us their FP, they already rode once and did not want to ride again.
We did not notice any difference in the seat positions. You can switch around with the other guests if they want to.
If you get a FP, check the time it states you can get another. It is usually about one hour after you got the first one. Or close to the "ride" time of the first. Then before you get on using the first one, get another one. That will save few minutes.
