any updates on the newly renovated space mountain? I am VERY jealous of all of you DISNEY FANS who have gotten to go to disney world recently, I still have so long to wait until my next vacation! AHHHHH

I haven't ridden but I have heard that the rehab has been somewhat underwhelming. Most of what they have rehabbed is unnoticable to the average rider. There is, however, a new preshow/queue area and post-show.

It's still the exact same ride experience, with the exception of your picture being taken at the very beginning. The queue area has been updated. As mentioned above, the overhaul was pretty underwhelming.

"underwhelming" is correct. the queue is a little more interesting with the new video games, which keep people busy for a few minutes, but it comes too early in the queue to really distract from a long line. the cars have been modified slightly, and it looks as though the tracks are new, but the ride is still slow-ish and bumpy.

within the last three months i've ridden space mountain in disneyland paris, wdw, and disneyland (the last two wtihin the last two weeks). in order order of fun:

1. disneyland
2. disneyland paris
3. wdw

i don't recommend waiting more than 10 minutes for the rennovated wdw ride.
