So bummed. Space Mountain will be closed when we are there in June.
Was so excited to try it. You all say it is so different from California. Oh well, at least I know now instead of finding out when we get there!

I'm not bothered about Space Mountain now until they install the new seats & harnesses to make it less rattly - hurts my head too much these days.

I am gutted that Thunder Mountain is closed on our dates though. It won't be the same without that. I am treating my DS1 and his Fiancee to celebrate their engagement - it is his favourite ride as well, and her first DLP trip.

It is too complicated to change our dates, or I would.

Rock n Rollercoaster is very similar to Space Mountain, but newer and smoother. Not quite as extreme as SM though, which has a higher height requirement.

Since we are coming all the way from Colorado, USA, we cannot change our dates either. I know the minute we walk through the gates I won't care anymore, but right now I'm pouting! :)

Ah well, we can pout together rockcow.....although I must admit I am scowling rather than merely pouting.
Hope you have a truly Magical Time anyway! Lots of other great attractions to do there.

P.S. I must add that if the long closure of BTM is due to the building of the new ramp, waiting area and boarding for disabled guests then I shouldn't really be grumpy about missing the ride on this trip. They need all the help they can get, so well done DLP.

I'm sad about BTM being closed because they whole family can ride together - Noodles is a small side 4 and gets very frustrated he isn't tall enough for stuff :-(
SM is open for our May trip, but only 1 in our party of 8 will probably want to ride it more than once as it really is that head thumping of a ride. I'm pouting for you as you are coming so far for this but on the upside, you won't have a banging head after it. Bring on the new cars then I might ride it more than once....!

I am still having head /neck problems after riding Space Mountain on my last trips, even sitting in the front for less vibration, so no rollercoasters for me for a while. Certainly not SM again until the new seats arrive.
