Space mountain intensity

My almost 5 y/o son has ridden Thunder, Space, and Matterhorn. He loves Thunder. At first he was ok with Matterhorn, but now doesn't care for it. He doesn't like Space, but that may mostly be because it is dark and also the wind makes it seem fast. If drops are the only issue though, Space and Matterhorn have very few drops and they are short as others mentioned. I agree with the poster who said Disneyland's coasters are not intense like at other parks .

I hate rollercoasters and refuse to ride anything with a drop, and I love Space. It is intense, you go fast but mostly just around and around. The music and lighting make it feel more intense too.
