Space Mountain Exiting Issues/Bath Tub

I keep hearing for bigger people Space Mountain can be challenging to get out of. Is it like getting out of the bath tub? I find it a little difficult putting my arms on the sides and heaving myself up. Is that what it is like?? If so, I better start practicing! (This is me laying in the bath tub)

Yes it is like getting out of the bathtub.

I forgot what the issue was: Is the coaster car too narrow or is it too deep?

Good use for a walker: An exercise "bar" to do "dips" on. Strengthens your arms so it is easier to get out of the Space Mountain car.

I was also wondering if the problem with getting up was the bar being in the way? Let's just say the bar wasn't there, I really feel like there would be no issue getting out, but if it is an issue and I have to drag myself out at an angle that could be a problem.

I clock in at about 280 or so these days and I'm young, not in the best shape obviously, but even I have kind of a tough time getting out of these cars sometimes. The bathub comparison isn't a terrible one. It's more the face that you're sitting with legs stretched out in front of you, almost like you're on the floor, so it's different and awkward as opposed to a coaster like everest, btm, or RnR where you are in an actual seat.

Agreed. It's totally like a bathtub. I usually shove my park bag between my legs so it's under the bar and I have to yank that out first and put it on the platform THEN haul myself out of the car. I don't have as much of a problem in the front seat and since my last ride I was in the back and it was awful, I just won't ride unless I'm in the front.

I'm seriously nervous about this one....especially with the time limit of getting out of the darn thing. I hear lots of heavier people mentioning the trouble with getting out of Space Mountain. I know I could probably lift myself out, but just wondering if the lap bar gets in the way?

Even I as a 14 year old. 145lbs,and 5'10 have a hard time getting out of the car. It's funny because I can do pull ups again and again but when it comes to getting out of a ride. Well I use all my energy lol
