Our room faced the river that the boat was on that took you to DTD. It was not a far walk from the parking lot (we had a rental car because my husband was in between business trips at that point) and it was pretty close to the pool area (we didnt end up being able to use) and the main building. I liked that it was small and close to everything. I do not know about the busses as we had a rental car, Sorry!

I wish there was a middle ground or like you said- an ability to swap app or dessert! We had the TiW card our past visit, since we had annual passes,and it was nice to order whatever ( app and entree or entree and dessert or sometimes app and dessert!) LOL

I'm sad your trip report is over.
I think it's good to try new resorts and new things on each trip. We've had resorts that we absolutely love and some that we just liked but staying at different places makes each trip feel fresh.

So sad that your TR is over! I loved reading about your trip! I think you will both love going in October next year, it's a great time to go and the Food and Wine festival is awesome! I have a hard time deciding what time is better, Food and Wine or Christmas!
