Space Available Cruises

This is a very specific question- anyone know about how far in advance they open up space available for Europe? I think they have always opened up these cruises since we have worked at Disney. We have miles finally and thought about booking in hopes a cruise will open next summer.

I don’t know the answer but I just saw that they opened a 3-day space available cruise on the wish on the 19th!! If my chemo wasn’t the day before, I would be on it with my daughter!!

@SteffyLou -- If you give me some approximate sailing dates/ports from this past year, I can check if I can see when they popped up on the discount release. For a while now, I've tried to download and save the weekly discount release in case I want to look for potential release trends (also allows me to daydream about getting back on a DCL ship). No promises for any useable info, but I'd gladly take a look through my saved docs.

Haha....I just saw that tonight. I have not been on the retiree site for about a week and just saw it. I really thought we wouldn't see discounts on the Wish until late next year at the earliest!! There are two dates listed now for the Wish.

I'm sorry I completely missed this. Thank you for offering to look before. We are considering all of our options and don't know what to think yet so I don't want to you do all of that work for nothing.

Can you see when (if at all) any discount popped up for mid to late December? I know it’s a more popular time of year so may not be many options.

I’m mostly interested in the Florida ports.

Fantasy is available Dec 10-17 and 24-31 Dec. I would do the 10-17 because it is cheaper. That is Eastern Caribbean. There are Western Caribbean cruises too. Good time to call.

Some of the rates are incredible. I wish I could fly over to New York for the Bermuda cruise - cheaper than a Disney moderate resort and it includes food!

We just did the 6 night NYC to Canada cruise on 10-10-22. Our friends could not believe the price. When I asked if they wanted to join us I gave them the price and they said "that's for 2 people?!" It was cheaper than going to a nice hotel for six nights.....and the included food and gratuities were just a bonus. We live about 30 minutes from the port. We left the ship at 7:55 am and we pulled into our driveway at 8:35 am (and that's including looking for our luggage in the terminal). It was fantastic....I love when DCL is in the neighborhood. No flights to worry about. We parked right at the port (though it is much more expensive than Port Canaveral parking at $40 per day). But, we did split it with the other couple so $120 each couple and when I priced a car service it was about $60 per person and parking was so much more convenient!

Could you actually tell me if you have to what 5 day and 7 day cruises were going for last summer ( mid June- July) for the Caribbean/Mexico? Decided no on Europe but going to try to budget for a 5 or 7. Thanks!

Here's what I have from what I saved. The 4/6/22 discount release looks to be the first release where June/July 2022 Caribbean/Mexico sailings popped up. [It looks like I didn't download the releases from 4/13 or 4/20, likely because we left on a 7-night DCL cruise on 4/16. After our cruise, it looks like I wasn't as actively saving the weekly releases for a bit of time.] I have several other releases saved from 4/27 through 6/29 on which June/July sailings to the Caribbean/Mexico appear. I'll attach what I've got here.

Thank you!!!!!!

Piggy-backing on this thread. I haven't been around for a bit. When calling to book the CM rates, is the wait on the phone as bad as it is for the regular public phone calls? I've been calling all morning to book a cruise and I just keep getting a busy signal, after I'm (in theory) being connected to an agent.

Never mind, was finally able to get through.

Well Europe cruises are up already. We decided to wait and see what opens up for warmer weather cruises in June and July. The 10 day one looks AMAZING but $8500 for a verandah for a family is a lot .

I feel like I am not so patiently waiting to see what comes out in the summer :rolleyes1
I would like to sail on the Wish but not sure if a space available cruise will open up on it. Not much else right now. Hopefully something will open up for you.
