The great news is that people whose rooms were NOT judged are supposed to receive an invisibility pin!

Well, not all of us got the pin. I just checked and I only have the invisibility pin I earned from winning at pirates....unless you mean a different kind - but I don't have any unknown pins either.

Yes, especially if the promised "consolation prize" of invisibility pins is not even happening properly.

Perhaps they could have done:
- 2 days of contests, but you can only enter 1 of them
- judging throughout the day, time of judging by letter of the alphabet of the username

I have to agree but for what you said and for the fact that at least 3 of the 9 awards went to VMK.com inner circle that that chaps my pretty little bum!can I say that??? if not alex please remove that part I will say I AM NOT SURPRISED!!!by the outcome but I thought more from VMK would be on that list. I am not saying that their rooms did not deserve to win they very well may have. But I beleive MrGenie has already won best room for the very room he entered.

Actually that part they did.

And I will go and research whether any of those had an entry in both contest which was supposed to disqualify you. Just because right now my blood is boiling!

And making you enter by a form and getting a reply back that you are entered and will be judged.

Also a RULE needs to be set in place that if you have won any contests in the previous 45 days (at least) you are not eligible to win again for that time period.

While I do like getting the pin this just goes to show how unfair things have become at VMK.

That there were suddenly "themes" and that the VMK fan site folks seemed to fit them in rather large numbers?

If you are going to do themes, then why were those categories not announced to give the rest of the guests a chance to try to build a room along those lines?

My theory of an insider circle has just been confirmed.. At least one of the winners already has won "best room" and, in fairness, should not have won again so soon. There were some amazing rooms out there with birthday cakes and pirate space ships to name two.

I am very disappointed in Disney for not riding herd on the programmers and those administering the game. They are amazingly talented in re-creating our beloved Disney parks. The artwork is exquisite. However, "people" skilss regarding guest services and keeping the game special for ALL guests is lacking. We are no longer in beta so this favoritism really needs to stop.

and I need to correct a statement I made I left out one of the inner circle so that makes it 4 out of the 9 so that is almost HALF of the winners were inner circle!

I have just got in the game so when I check to see if I have the pin I will post.

Such a shame. I know a lot of time and effort went into Joe's room where I was and I bet just as much time as the others. Too bad you chouldn't schedule a time to be judged so that people know and so that everyone could be judged. You know like if you wanted to enter send in a pm early and then that day found out you would be judged between 1 pm and 2pm and then maybe they would spend more then a few seconds in a room and judge on that.

It isn't a pin and it doesn't mean much I know but I think the rooms I saw that night were winners.

Yes there is definitely the "INNER CIRCLE" I have known this for awhile. I agree with the others, there should be some set rules in place.

Now for the great one, I made the mistake of saying the wrong thing about one person of the popular inner circle, and I now seem to see that person everywhere, where before I never did.

And all that I mentioned was that a producer did something for her and she was "letting everyone know" , and then I said that if that happened to me I would have kept it to myself.

Then today I saw the same person bragging away again about her pins. Just enough to make you sick.(and was on the forums)

Maltoo has posted about this topic before and has opened my eyes and suspicions even further.


Since no one is getting any response from the BLACK HOLE -- I wonder if I should get out my special phone number. If anyone else is interested please let me know. I am not going to state here of where it goes to.

I hope that I have not said anything out of contest, if I have Webmaster please do what you have to do.

It's *not* Joe's (or Bezoar's) room! Not me!!! It was OUR effort, and I think we had fun

And not just because we didn't win. Winning was not really the whole goal; I like trying cooperative ideas (case in point, the teleporter network).

For those of you who have inquired, yes, I have two inferno pins now. However, since I'm apparently one of those wacky "haves," there really isn't anything I'm willing to trade for at this point. I'm either planning on saving it to trade for the magic carpet pin or giving it away as the top prize for a future contest which I have not thought up yet. I also have two best guest room pins now; it seems wrong to give this out or trade this pin, but at the same time I'm pretty sure they aren't combinable so it's fairly worthless to me (please don't read that the wrong way...admittedly, I obsessed over winning this pin for the first time, which anyone who knew me back then would agree ). I don't dare wear both at the same time for fear of offending some of you even more. So, for now I guess I'll just mothball it next to my 125 NPC pins
