There have been a couple reports of no ADRs for Space 220 Lounge for 4 recently, even at 60+10. Figured maybe we’d start a thread as this used to be possible. Anyone snagged a Lounge ADR for 4 or even 3 people in the last couple weeks?

Or they’re reclassifying those 4-tops to be in the Restaurant (prix fixe) section as opposed to being classified as Lounge (choice of prix fixe or a la carte), because they realized how much money they were losing on Lounge guests.
Yeah, I always thought that the Lounge business cannibalized some of the traffic that would otherwise go to the restaurant.

maybe...but the restaurant side had pretty much unlimited availability so I'd find it weird they would now hold those tables for the restaurant side. Im going with weird glitch.

I know - if I were the restaurant operator I'd rather take the Lounge business instead of losing that customer's business entirely, but who knows what they're thinking. Maybe it's a test to see whether and how much their revenue and/or guest count drops.

According to this post they recently saw numerous 4 tops in the lounge going empty despite a full restaurant and a line for the lounge (I have been told in the past the line is for the bar proper, idk if that’s accurate).

I’m leaning toward staffing issues in the back of the house or supply issues.

I was able to get a dinner ADR in the lounge for 3 people back in March for 6/3 (so on our 60+ for the second part of the split stay) but nothing else. Had to cancel bc it was literally our departure day.

None available today for Lounge 4 tops when I did mine this morning, had to settle for the prix fix crap.

I have a three top reserved in a couple of weeks that I did at my 60+

Was surprised to see that as I've only seen mostly availability for 2 for my last two trips this last half year.

I got one for 4 people at 60+10 but they were all booked up within a few min after 6am because I tried to modify the time and there was nothing left.

You definitely can have 4 in the lounge, I’ve done it. You can’t have more than though. If you booked two times idk if they’d push tables together or not

Correct but this is new other than that one poster above you there hasn't been any availability for 4 even looking 60+10 which is not normal. Especially for a slower time at the end of August.

I missed the part of this recently happening. Maybe a staffing issue

Unless I snag a Lounge, we won't ever be going back. I guess they are making a profit with the few they seat.

By experience and info passed on I've heard the line outside is (1) Restaurant reservations (2) Sitting at Bar only. No line for Lounge tables, which we would have preferred but they said NOPE.

I know on one trip I asked the server why so many empty tables when folks are trying so hard to get in, she said they can only seat what the kitchen can handle. They just are not staffed for a full seating.

The way I see it is ~ the cost of the restaurant was so high we did not order drinks. If we were seated in the Lounge not only would we be ordering a variety of food but also overpriced alcoholic drinks. Probably spend close to same.

I think it is more the staffing issue, keeping the kitchen more streamlined if less variety is sold.
