Forgive me if this is a dumb question :confused3 , but I booked a Couples massage at Mandara Spa at the PBH for our up coming trip. I asked the girl I spoke to to confirm the price and she advised it would be $250 plus 18% service charge making a total to pay of $295. Does sales tax not apply to Spa treatments? I was lead to believe that anything you purchased in Florida would have sales tax added.

Same again with a Hot Air Balloon trip I have booked, would sales tax apply to that?

Thanks

yes there is sales tax on spa treatments. I believe it is 12.5% resort tax. If you have a PAP you will get a 10% discount on spa services and treatments. Just remember to tell them, as they dont ask ;)

Not sure about the Balloon trip, maybe someone else will know.
