Spa Question???

DH and I plan to do one of the Spa treatments!!! We have narrowed it down to The Surial Steam Bath and The Tropical Rainforest!!! Has anyone ever did one of these, and if so how was it??? Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!!

During our DIsney Magic August 16th-23rd cruise of this year Travis and I did the Surial Steam Bath for the first time. It was really an enjoyable experience and one that I would do again. I would never have guessed that a steam bath and that mud could actually make you feel so refreshed and clean! I guess you sweat out all of the toxins and chemicals in your body and that contributes to that "fresh" feeling.

At $68 I think it's a pretty good treatment and one worth trying at least once.

I agree with the above poster. Surial is definately worth trying. Very different the steam room part gets very HOT so we didnt turn it on right away. Also, take in extra towels.

We were able to sit in the rainforest room before and after our surial so you could experience both that way.

I recommend you go to Dave's or Barb and Tony's web site and read up on the available spa offerings. The surial is not exactly a treatment in the strictest sense of the word. It's more on the order of being amorous in the mud. Personally, I'd rather watch watch near-nude females wrestle in it...

I highly recommend the Elemis Absolute Face and Body Treatment. It's pricey, but heck, you're on vacation!

I'd have to second the Absolute Facial and Body treatment (althought it's not one that you'd do together)! It's a facial and a massage. YUM!! You can add on the rainforest room at a reduced rate on the day of a spa treatment (I think it's $8). You could each do a treatment and then meet in the rainforest room.

I think you can even have the treatments done in the same room as a couples massage.

Are you looking for a treatment you can do together? The Surial Bath fits that bill, it is "hands on" for the two of you but no treatment is given by a therapist, you do it yourselves. The Rain Forest is just a relaxation room with different showers, etc., no treatments are given there either.

I also highly recommend the Absolute Face & Body Treatment (given separately, not as a couple) for the ultimate in pampering.

Thanks for all the great advice!!! I think that we are still going to do the Surial Bath because we want to do something together!! Maybe a couples massage too!!! The face and and body treatment sounds wonderful!! I might have to try that one too, if I have enough time!!! Thanks Guys!!!!
