Soy milk question

Our LO (15 months) drinks soy milk, so we will be looking for places at the parks to purchase it. I have been in contact with the WDW dietary info person, and I'm feeling confident that we'll be able to find it.

My question is... what type of container does it come in? Paper carton? Small plastic jug? I'm just trying to decide what type of sippy cup (if any) I need to bring for our little guy.

We've only found soy milk at the resorts, never in any of the parks. At the resort food courts they sell the Silk milk boxes (they look just like a cardboard juice box and come with a straw you just punch in the top.)

I know they had vanilla and chocolate, but I don't recall them having regular. Although my son won't drink regular so we probably just didn't pay attention.

To be safe, you could do garden grocer and get them to deliver it to your resort.

Also, what does LO stand for? For the life of me i cant figure it out.

Like Carebee21 said, most resorts will have it. We were told that they sell the mini boxes. My 2 year old only drinks soy milk, so I was a little worried about this and asked a similar question a few months ago. I was told that certain CS in the parks will carry it as well. Off the top of my head I remember that these CS are supposed to carry it..

Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland MK and Main Street Bakery
Pizzafari and Restaurantosaurus in AK
ABC Commissary in DHS

Here's the list I have of park locations where Silk is carried. I'm not sure if it's up to date as I didn't update it for my August trip so this is what I had received early January.

Magic Kingdom: Main Street Bakery, The Lunching Pad, Sunshine Tree Terrace, Fryer's Nook
Epcot: Sunshine Seasons (we did get it here last week)
Animal Kingdom: Restorantosaurus, Pizzafari
Disney's Hollywood Studios: ABC Commissary

We've always been able to get it at CS locations at our resort though I didn't check at BC Marketplace on our recent stay because it was just so inconvenient to go over there from YC and frankly the allergy options were just so bad that it wasn't worth trying to eat CS at our resort.

Most TS restaurants owned by Disney have Silk available. The only time we couldn't get any was at Hollywood Brown Derby last week. The chef had somebody go somewhere else to get some (I think he said next door which means Starring Rolls but that isn't on my list of CS lcoations so I'm not sure). At first they had 1 carton of very vanilla and nothing else but by the time DD13 decided if she wanted it or not it was sold to another customer. Occasionally a restaurant will only have chocolate or only very vanilla. Most times TS restaurants will carry plain, very vanilla and chocolate.

Thanks so much for the info. Our little guy does okay with straws (with help) so we might not need to carry the sippy cups!!! Yay!

As to the question of ordering from garden grocer... I don't really know how to keep it cool all day at the parks, and I'm not bringing a cooler and ice along. We will buy some at AKV and keep in our studio, but I'm hoping we can find soy milk at least once during the day.

Guess we've got to try the vanilla and chocolate. He pretty much eats everything, so doubt it will be a problem!

As far as keeping it cold...Thermos sells (in target and TRU and WAlmart) a thermos that has a pop lid with a straw. WE would fill it up with ice in the am, and it would still have ice at the end of the day, so as long as you can put ice in the soy milk it will be ok!!!!

Most of the little ones are shelf stable and do not require refrigeration.
