Does anyone know a good place to buy souvenirs? Are they any cheaper in DTD than in the Parks. We are going tomorrow for our first time, just a few days though. Thanks for any suggestions.

I don't know about prices being different in different places, I think they are the same all over the resort though. Try MouseGear at Epcot, and the World of Disney at DD. Best selection and just about everything you could want at these two!

If you see something you really like pick it up then, not all the stores have the same stuff. We got some fun shirts with the rides on them ie space mountain and big thunder at little carts by the ride. My son enjoyed wearing those all year.

I agree about World of Disney at DD and Mousegear in Epcot. They are so big, you could really get lost in them. They both have just about every type of merchandise you can imagine.

World of Disney will give Disney Club members a discount, but if you see anything specific at a park grab it, you may not find it anywhere else!

Well, they're not necessarily cheaper in DTD, but you can get a Disney Club discount, which I believe is 10%, or you can get an AMEX discount at certain stores if you are an on-property guest, your hotel is being charged to your AMEX card, and you use your AMEX card to pay at the register. This is true in World of Disney,Disney At Home, the Christmas store, and Team Mickey that I'm sure of, and may be true at other stores in DTD as well. There are also 2 outlets in the Belz Outlet Center way down on International Drive.

this isn't quite what youre asking but... if you keep your eyes peeled oyu can find bargains in many places! in tinkerbelles treasures in fantasyland, i found a pair of sterling dangly tinkerbelle earrings for less than $101 i get complements everytime i wear them.also in world of disney i bought my then 2 year old son a die cast metal monorail for about 415 he has definitely gotten my moneys worth out of that one-plays withit almost daily and its nearly indesructable!in the same vein, grandma splurgedon the over 10 dollar light up mickey parade spinner thing.my son now takes it to every parade and also to bed every night and will probably take it trick or treating. to me if the items hold up well, and have alot of play valus- thats a greay souvenir1 like i said not exactly what you askedbut a thought to ponder. also i agree with the other posters. if you see something you really want dont plan on getting it later. we seldom end up goning back to the spot just for the souvenir and they often arent available anywhere else

For some reason it seems we buy most of our souveniers either at the resort or on Main Street. I really like that shop on the left when you first start walking down Main Street. DH likes the shops at MGM the best!
