souvenir luggage tags

We have received all of our travel info. Included were some souvenir luggage tags (not the ME tags). It is the tag and a clear plastic loop. For the life of us we can't figure out how to put them on our luggage. We feel really stupid for asking, but HELP!!!!

Push a couple inches of the loop through the hole in the tag. You'll have a "little" loop on one side of the tag and a longer loop on the other side. Then take the long end of the loop and thread it through the little end of the loop. Pull it tight and you've got the loop on your tag!

Then take the tag with loop and put the loop under a handle on your suitcase. Put the tag through the loop and pull it tight.

Hope this makes sense! It's hard to write out the instructions!!

Just a suggestion but if you really don't want to lose the tags, don't put them on. We put ours on during our 2004 trip and someone stole all of them! Our last trip we made our own DIS tags instead.

I got mine two days ago and was also perplexed on how to get them together.

We got them with our package but didn't use them. I aaas on Disney store online last night and they had some cute ones on sale...like three tags with mickey logo etc for six bucks.

I didn't use the plastic things that were sent with them.

I used a zip tie to attach them to our luggage.
