Pre-Covid we were told by DCL bartenders to bring them back on future sailings to refill. Also if you aren’t suppose to do it, why are they still refilling the older cups that aren’t even sold anymore? My post Covid cruise was concierge so didn’t have to buy any drinks. So didn’t ask. I always ask the bartenders before my first refill and always tell them it’s from a previous cruise and they have always said it was allowed. I just wasn’t sure if that had changed post-Covid.

Thanks! I see that is referring to the beer mugs and I agree the beer mugs should be bought in each cruise, you get a significant discount on those refills.(we have been told that by bartenders) but it doesn’t mention the souvenir cups. Do you have any documentation regarding those? The amount of the drink is about the same as you get in the cup they provided with the Drink of the Day (as a matter of fact you get less in the current souvenir cups) you are paying the same price, it’s not a special refill rate. Your just having it put in your own cup instead of a plastic solo cup.
Translation: bartenders want tips so they are rarely if ever going to say no. (Like how porters will slap a luggage tag on a case of water even though that is supposed to be carried on.)
