Does anyone know what, if any, restuarants would have souvineer cups or the mickey shaped plates??? We ate at Carnation Cafe this morning for breakfast and DD's milk came in a small cute Disney plastic cup that we kept of course, and I've got the big plastic popcorn bucket to keep but is there anywhere to get a larger size cup than the small milk cup and the plates shaped like Mickey? What do you have to order to get them? Hope I'm making sense and someone knows what I'm talking about.

Anyone know how to edit your thread heading? I meant PLATE not PLACES? Still lack of sleep....brain dead but DL happy!

I remember in DCA there were High School Musical souvenir cups with a basketball shaped top, I thought that was cute. I also saw a Buzz Lightyear one somewhere but of course I forget.

The kids meals at Pizza Port have the thin black plastic Mickey plates if that's what you are talking about.

You're looking for kid's meals. Plaza Inn, Rancho del Zocalo...those are where I got those plates on my last trip.

Cucina Cucamonga at DCA also has them with their kid's meals.

You really want those souvenir cups? They are a HUGE pain in the, well, the luggage quite frankly. :)

We have the Woody cup and the Buzz cup. Got Woody at Cucamonga and Buzz at....hmm...Pacific Wharf Cafe, maybe? Warning about Buzz, water gets up into the top and drips, nay, gushes out at random times. We've also run into a mold/mildew problem with the top of Buzz. Buzz isn't allowed to have water in him anymore.

Oh oh oh! You just mean the simple little cups! I think any time a little kid has a drink ordered for them it will likely come with the little plastic cup. We have a gazillion of them. The places I mentioned above have them, well, unless you're ordering the little water for them instead of a milk/soda/juice. (I just order the bitty soda for myself and give the kiddo water, that way we get the cup, bwa ha ha)

Even at Cafe Orleans they gave DS water in a little free cup with a lid.

To edit the title go to Edit, then Advanced Edit (or something like that) and it should allow you to edit the title.

Thanks! Yeah, I meant the the simple cups. If we are doing Minnie's Breakfast at Plaza Inn (gee, I think that's where it is) do you think they will have the plates for their buffet? I hope so. I know, pretty silly to want these things but hey, they're cute and DD loves em. Her kids meal at Hungry Bear didn't give a cup with the milk, just a little bottled milk but maybe that's because it wasn't table service.....will do more of that then! Thanks again...okay, off to get ready to go to TTMM!

There is a nemo popcorn bucket in tomorrowland too!

We ate at cafe orleans and we got a little peter pan cup and it came with either a light up captain hook or tinkerbell (It was with the "pirate punch" which was just raspberry lemonade)

Looking at my pictures, there's one of those cups sitting next to DS's plate at Storyteller's. We generally drink just water (especially now that even hubby can't have soda b/c of his reaction to high fructose corn syrup; the soda I mentioned getting was on my solo trip with no one to make jealous) and when we ordered our waters, they brought DS's out in the little cup.

Oh but is the Plaza b'fast that sort of hybrid table/counter service sort of place, where there's a buffet but the servers wait on you? That's how it is a storyteller's but I don't have direct knowledge of the Minnie b'fast.

With the kid's meals, if you get the little water or the milk, you just get those containers. But if you get a soda, you get the cup.

But if you think of the table-only places, if you get a water, they don't want you dropping a glass, so it makes sense that they would give it to you in the keep-cup.

audrabolster (is your name Audra, by the way?), I soooo want to get one of those light up clip things, but just don't want that raspberry lemonade thing (partially b/c it's described as light, and partially b/c I'm fairly sure it's full of the above mentioned forbidden-to-us ingredient)...do you know if they substitute? I guess one could just dump out the drink if they don't substitute, but that's a high price to pay and not get a beverage! :upsidedow

Yep my name is Audra :)

When we went to blue bayou they some of us get diet coke, so I don't think they care? And the light clip is SO cool. I love it! Plus you get a color change straw! haha. It's the little things for me...

Well then you're the second Audra I've ever known. :) I love the name, though it sure does confuse people! (especially since the other Audra I knew in person actually looked quite a bit like Audrey Hepburn, so people were beyond befuddled with her)

I love the color-change straws. Felt like a bit of a goof asking for them with no kid around, but I had to bring 'em back to my boy! Those novelties are fun. I'm even planning to get a blue glowtini at WDW on our trip b/c I want that fun light up ice cube. :upsidedow

daffidyll I can't believe you're there! It seems you've been planning forever, and there you are, having a blast and collecting things to take home and have fun with. DS will eat just about anything from his Mickey plates, they are very helpful.

Yep! I've only run into a few Audra's in my life. Sometimes a few Audrey's. My mom was addicted to the show Big Valley when we she was younger!

I LOVE those colour change straws!!! SOOOOOOOOO COOL!!! Yeah, can't believe we are FINALLY here either......it's been awesome though because I learned so many tips on here and it's been so unbelievably helpful! Just came back for a rest before we head back again. I love being close to the parks to do that! Decided to do dinner at Plaza Inn tonight so hopefully will get the plate. Had to cancel our character breakfast because DD is just too scared of the characters getting anywhere near her. She's enjoying ME going to get autographs and photos though and I'm reliving my youth doing it!

Must try to get to Cafe Orleans for the light clip and Tomorrowland for the Nemo popcorn bucket!!! Oh so much to do and so little time left......

I've been able to get empty, clean MM plates at the Pizza Port when we want to share an entree -- I don't like DS eating from my plate! Just go to the pasta service counter and ask for an extra plate. They're not the strongest tableware, but should hold up for a few washings.

Molly, they have those at Storytellers for dinner! I remember reading a review on mouseplanet and someone wrote they got one and it had a little lite up ice cube! When we go, I'll be 21, so I'll be on the look out if they have them somewhere else, and I'll order one, just for you! ;)
