Souveniers Stolen

I just picked up some family members from their Disney trip and all of their souveniers were stolen out of the trunk of the rental car. The security guard at their hotel says this happens all the time. He also works at the parks and said it happens there too. The guard said that the rental car electronic keys can open more than one car and thats how it happens. I've been told by co-workers that this is true of any clicker type openers. I didn't know this could happen and just wan't to warn others. This is any important part of any vacation and it really put a damper on the trip, especailly for the kids.

I read on the boards {I think it might have been the UK boards} that a family took their luggage to DD and went for a meal leaving their hand luggage in the boot {trunk} when they returned to the car they did not notice that their bags were missing until they got to the airport. They were told that people watch them and they have a device that activate the boot from afar they then take the bags out without damage to the car.
