Hello all!
I know I was told that i CAN check in online, and not print out a pass if i don't have access to a printer; however, how do i know if check in was successful?

I checked in and it took me to the print screen and then that was the end of it?
TIA!

As long as you hit"print" ,even though it won't print ,you are checked in. To double check, go through the process again,it should say checked in.

I would try and use a computer at work, library, or maybe a nearby hotel. If you check in and not print a boarding pass, you will still have to check in. I realize that checking in without printing a pass will get you hopefully a A or B. In order to go thru most airport security, you have to have a boarding pass. If you have a neighbor with a computer, ask them to print it. Or WalMart has the Lexmark for $30. Cheap , but will get you by.
Good luck.

I called last week to check on this, b/c our printer is not working. They told me that was fine. We have to check our bags anyway, and so we cna have them print out our boarding passes.

You don't have to hit "print". As long as the A pass is on your screen, you are checked in. Love bringing the laptop along for that. Then at the airport you can pick up your pass from the skycap or check in desk, just tell them you checked in online but did not print it. You can also print your pass at a kiosk inside.

poorman

if you check in and cannot print it,

when you checkin in again, you get the same screens saying it is available ( you have to recheck the flights ) but when you click checkin the boading passes that come up will have an " r " beside your boarding passes original number

this happened to us this weekend, there were two computer in the room at the hampton in baltimore but only one was connected to the printer

thus we had to check in again, the whole procedure, it did not tell us we had already checked in, but did put that " r " beside our original number
