Last week my boss told me to book a flight to Las Vegas for a convention. I booked the "wanna get away" rate since it was cheaper. Now I see the same flight for half what I paid. It says the 'Wanna get away" rate is non refundable. Does anyone know if they will adjust it or did I mess up by getting early?

Although the rate in non refundable you can get credit for the flight different in the form of travel funds. The funds have to be used by the person whose name is on the ticket and travel most be completed one year for the date of the orginal ticket. So if the ticket was purchased on Jun 1, 2011 then the flight booked using the travel credit funds my be completed by June 1, 2012.

Be sure to keep the reservation comfirmation number in a safe place. You will need it to book the tickets using the travel funds.

I had the same question also so thanks for answering. After looking up my reservation with my confirmation number, it says the travel funds expire Nov,28,11. Does that mean we have to fly by then or just book another flight and use the funds by then? Our flight that I ended up changing was on Mar 3 2011 so I just thought we'd have a year.Maybe not:confused3

You have to use it by the expiration, which is the day you originally bought the tickets. Something strange is on the reservations under the confirmation number. Mine now says expires in February, but I know it should be October, so I would call and check if I was you..I did and mine do expire in October.

Thanks for the replies. Do I have to call or is there a way to do it online. I have tried to call but all I get is try later.

No need to call, I just changed mine online.
Click on travel tools
Click on change air reservation
then follow the steps from there, just pick the same flight if you want, your travel funds will show up at the end
