Does anyone know how to get credits from SouthWest? I made ressies for my dad last week and the prices are down this week. Do I just ask?

Hi, Go to the SW website and go to Travel Tools, you will see a line that says "change air reservation" click on and enter your confirmation# and name. You will then be able to "change" to a lower price (if available) and they will show you your credit. If you get the SAME flight at a lower price you can call and try to get a refund to your credit card(I have done this in the past). Joan

Another SW credit question and I didn't want to start a new thread: how long is the credit good for? 12 months? Longer?

Thanks!!

If you don't change flight time or date, you can get the money back on your credit card -- always much better than credit for future travels. However, if you do change something, the credit will be good for a year from the date you made the reservation. You can also call and get a 6-month extension if you have a trip just outside that 1-year window.
