Southwest Summer Sale!!

I thought I'd post this here in case anyone planning a summer trip (to eat in Disney restaurants (the board tie-in))wasn't watching the "Budget Board" - but Southwest is having a doozy of a summer sale to FL- announced this morning-- for example, flights from Providence to Orlando are $49 one way (Other cities are also on sale to FL)--- Good for Flights UNTIL Sept. 28 (This does me no good whatsoever, because I have trips planned for Oct., Nov, Dec. --- But maybe it will help somebody else).Remember, if you already have a trip booked with SW, and the fares are now cheaper, you can get a credit for the difference if you call them and rebook at the new rate. Southwest has some great promotions. Last summer they had the "friends fly free" special where it was basically buy one ticket get the next free. 6 of us flew to Orlando for $500 and normally each ticket is $175++. We got great service too. They talk about it being a "no frills" airline but you rarely get a meal on any flight other than cross country anymore so we didn't notice any difference than when we fly American or Delta etc. I can't take advantage of this year's specials but congrats to those that can. Enjoy!!!!!

Thank you so much for posting!! I just booked a last minute trip to the Swan for the $99 night and got the special airfare through southwest. It cost us $330 for 3 tickets from providence to orlando RT. Now to find a good rental car rate.........
