Southwest Stroller gate-check

We've always gate-checked our stroller with Southwest, but I just realized that since my youngest DS is now 5, we won't be pre-boarding anymore, but we will still be bringing our stroller. Can I still gate-check the stroller even though I'll be boarding with the regular group of "A" or "B" or whatever?
