Southwest Question

I know that everyone is anxiously waiting for Southwest to release more fares. I'm in that same group and starting to get anxious as flight prices are going up and Air Tran is starting to sell out on the flights I would take. That being said, I'd really like to wait for Southwest. So, does anyone know how much of a block they release at one time. We are waiting for end of April/beginning of May. They are currently booking through February 3. Do you think our timeframe would be in the next block or will we stil be waiting after that?

Also, if you flew Southwest last April/May, do you remember when those prices/flight schedules were released?

Thanks!

You read my mind. I was just coming here to post the same question.

I have a trip to WDW scheduled for May 4-11, and I'm getting anxious about booking something before prices go up much more. Usually SouthWest is not competitively priced out of Philadelphia, but right now they have the best deal (assuming they don't raise their airfares to ridiculous levels like everyone else).

It looks like by the chart linked to I have to wait until December.

Thanks for the link! Not sure I can handle the pressure until early December to wait and book flights! :rolleyes1

DH and I flew SW from PHL to MCO last 5/14 thru 5/20 and I think it was mid to late December or maybe even early January when the schedule came out....I know I didn't book the flights until we were back from our 1/1 thru 1/9 trip, but, I think the schedule was up before then.....hope that helps!!

So looking at southwest today there sale goes through the end of the schedule which is wording that they use when they are about to release the schedule. I say it should be about next tuesday. :wizard:
