Southwest Question

Why can I only look for flights through Sept. 12 on Southwest, but any other airline that I look at will let me look out further? Is Southwest always like that?

Yes. SWA is never booking for more than about 4 to 5 months in the future. But they are definitely worth waiting for. Try downloading DING.

I would definately wait for Southwest !! check daily until you see they have extended their calendar, make sure you download ding as the previous poster mentioned ! Just today they had a GREAT ding fare from midway to Orlando, for one round trip ticket it was $115 per person, unfortunately I couldn't use it because i'm waiting for the fall calendar also !

PoohBear - I downloaded "Ding" a while ago (in March) and have only received one special fare. I would have been interested in that Midway to Orlando fare!! When was it valid? I am bummed that I did not receive it and wonder why I didn't????

I love Southwest and just returned last night on them from Orlando!! It is worth the wait for those great fares.
