When does Southwest start offering flights for April school vacation? Any idea when they'll expand their calendar?

We are currently accepting air reservations through April 11, 2016. On October 27, 2015 we will open our schedule for sale through June 3, 2016. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

You can find the flight schedule release date on Southwest's Flight Schedules page. Near the top of SW's home page over on the right click on "FLIGHT". In the menu that pops up, over on the right click on "Flight Schedules". Keep checking because the schedule release date is subject to change!
