There seem to be a few sites and Facebook pages -- even saw one on YouTube -- that purport to give extra Rapid Rewards sign-up bonus miles.
I am not talking about signing up for a credit card or anything -- at least I don't think so -- just using the site to hop through before going on to SWA -- I think.
I am not going to name them, but at least a couple of them seem to be misleading and use Web site names that some people could easily mistake as being an actual SWA site.
I have not actually gone to any of the sites -- except the YouTube site and the Facebook site -- figured I would be safe from any malware at either of those locations, but does anyone have any experience with these? Both the FB page and the YouTube video spots just implore you to go the Web sites -- one red flag -- at least for me.
Are they legit? Yes, I do understand referrals, but I also understand the hassle of a good computer virus.
Of course, they could just be click bait and after going through all the links, you probably don't end up with a bonus anyway -- but they get a few centavos for the click.
