I have noticed that Dallas to MCO are not included in the faresaver city list. I am looking for July. I am trying to decide if I should just bite the bullet and pay the cheapest fare available right now, or wait to see if the price goes down a little. Any thoughts?

I have no idea about whether fares will go up down for july, but if you buy tickets now, and the price goes down before your trip, you can get the difference back from Southwest.

You can get the difference back if the fares drop but it won't be in cash. You receive a CREDIT with Southwest that must be used within 1 year of your booking...not when you fly...from when you book your trip.

I also have no idea about what the fares will do. Our trip in September is currently $199 each way. Back when gas was almost $4 per gallon, we only paid a bit over $200 RT. I'm just baffled as to why fares are so high! Other airlines are much better priced so I am tempted to fly with someone else but I have points that would help offset the price...and with 6 tickets to buy, that would be nice.

SWA is no longer the cheapest option for me when flying from Philly to MCO. In the past, tickets have averaged around $200/person. Tickets for my upcoming May trip are averaging $350-400/per person. I have been watching the fares for the past three months and they have only increased. I actually flew to Orlando in February on American because the fare (including bag fees) was $100/person cheaper than SWA.

I wouldn't count on a price decrease for a July flight to Orlando at this point in the year.
