southwest participating?

I remember reading on another site that POP was trying out Southwest check-in for departures. Does anyone know if this is still going on?

At the bottom of the FIRST post it will talk about airlines in the RAC, and SW will be mentioned about being in a trial run at POP. Until that post changes, or you personally have a different experience, that's the story IMO>

Also as a follow up, using SW, I would still make sure I get checked in 24 hours before to try to get an A boarding pass. I personally wouldnt wait to check in at the RAC counter as all the A's may be gone. I WOULD take advantage of the luggage part of the RAC at POP for SW though. They will still 'check you in' but it will just pop up your boarding pass number that you already had gotten.

Southwest Airlines is still in the testing phase and working towards the goal of expanding the baggage checkin service to the other Disney Resort properties. There has been no formal announcement as of yet to whether this expansion will take place soon...so keep watching the news...but currently YES - the Pop Century does still accommodate Southwest Airlines Customers when checking in their luggage.

Due to the "test" of this service - please keep in mind that this service may be unavailable at times. Good luck & let us hear about it.
