Does anyone know when Southwest releases their price for December of 2012??

The earliest any carrier releases flights is ~ 330 days out. Southwest will probably release flights 6-8 months in advance.

Jan 22nd is their next release date. You can always find the date Southwest next releases by going to their homepage, clicking on travel tools and clicking on more travel tools. The page that comes up has a sentence at the top that says something like this: We are currently booking through (date) We will release flights on (date) for flights up to (date). This may change. Check back frequently.

No way to tell for sure. Six to eight months is a good window. If you want to see when those dates have been released in prior years, check this link. Note that the window does seem to have been stretching a bit in recent months.
